FOR the fifth week in a row, Manly winger Michael Oldfield has not been named in the Sea Eagles starting team for Friday night’s round seven NRL match against the Panthers at Brookvale Oval.In what is becoming a regular pattern, Oldfield is likely to start with William Hopoate again moving to fullback to cover for the injured Brett Stewart. Not that Oldfield is concerned, the 20-year-old is just grateful coach Des Hasler keeps on giving him a crack.

This is the question in so many other threads.

I guess at the end of the year we are likely to see 1 of either Robbo or David Williams leave the club. Which means we have Hoppa there to play on the wing.

Oldfield is contracted to the end of next year, where we will see the other of robbo or williams go.

Though being only 20 he is probably biding his time knowing that by 22 he could be our full time winger
