Every loss has created new opportunities.  If we win the premiership from this position, then what more fitting followup to a record-breaking grand-final victory?  How good would that be? What an incentive ... to do something this special and memorable. Biggest comeback from a losing start for over 50 years & something only ever done twice before in 100 years!
