I don't think 'Snake' is appropriate. I know how it originated, but it has bad connotations. I've read somewhere here call him 'Bullet', which I like. What do you think? Fan power and some appropriate signs at matches can change the way we refer to our champion.

He did nothing wrong, but 'snake in the grass', slithering etc...
just doesn't sit well with me.
'The Prince of Brookie' ... he needs something dignified imo.

Its his nickname. Way before any bogus sexual assault claims.

I think its being a bit over cautious tbh.

In my opinion there's one name and one name only

2011 THE YEAR OF THE SNAKE

                              "The Prince returns"

Sound like a movie name doesn't it...fair dinkum his mates and his team mates call him Snake why shoud we change it for him?

Actually this reminds me of a news article with names that were actually registered by Births, Deaths and Marriages. I'll post the article in the General Forum. Makes you wonder why some parents deserve oxygen.

Its harder to become, & there are more licencing requirements to, becoming a pet owner than a parent.

Harrison Ford... what the...? He was in 'Presumed Innocent' and Jodie Foster was in 'The Accused'.

Snake is cool like Snake Pliskin. Da man...

I think he meant "The Fugitive". Doesn't work at all.

There is 1 line of commentary that I love hearing time and time again

After he scored his 2nd against the Tigers in his 09 comeback at Brookie, said by Ray Warren

"They call him the Prince of Brookvale, I call him Mr Magic"

Hurricane after the Bob Dylan song. If you've seen the movie with Denzel Washington you can understand the meaning

Good one Kiwi Eagle, and my thoughts too:

"Prince of Brookvale" or what they used to call Ayrton Senna in F1: "Magic"

But 'Snake' will do fine too ;-)
