SEA Eagles great Steve Menzies returned home to Sydney last night for the birth of his second child.
Steve Menzies and wife Suyin - birth imminent.
Menzies’ wife, Suyin, will be induced at Royal North Shore Private Hospital. The couple already have a two-year-old girl, Miller.
Menzies, who last played for Manly in the 2008 National Rugby League grand final victory over the Melbourne Storm, is based in England playing with the Bradford Bulls.
The 36-year-old is expected to return to the United Kingdom on the weekend.
“The poor bugger has got to get on a flight on Saturday,” Suyin said.
Menzies is now off contract at Bradford and is keen for yet another season of top-flight football.
His manager Wayne Beavis has not ruled out a return to the Sea Eagles next season if a deal does not materialise in England.
