Sounds like a C- performance so far

We show class all over the field compared to Canberra, but… still show lack of patience, reluctant to get in the grind, poor game management, and no respect for the ball. Lucky run of decisions our way in the first 20-30 minutes gave us a glut of possession, which has probably gassed the raiders a bit.

Elliot whitehead querying the ref about a hip drop. He should know all about it, he was the biggest proponent of the hip drop in the game a few years ago.

Yeah he invented it. I remember he was responsible one of the very few injuries DCE has suffered in his career. It was Brookie around 2017, when he hip dropped and put our captain out of action for about 6 weeks.

We should focus on defence and a simple game plan in the second half to get this win. If we go out and try and hit the 50, I worry we will let Canberra into the game through errors.
