As said already if the Tigers can beat this lot so can we. Not likely but you never know. We will need to play the perfect game to have a chance. And if there’s one game the panthers might be a little off for it’s a midweek evening trip to the northern beaches. Got a feeling this will be closer than people think.

Yes to me start of week panthers by 40+ could very easily be this score still but with panthers out I see it being closer than people think.

panthers will lead 18-8 at half time full time score 26-10 or something like that.

Penrith Panthers has received an exemption from the NRL to add hooker Luke Sommerton to the NRL squad to face Manly Warringah Sea Eagles on Thursday night.

Sommerton joins the squad after starting hooker Mitch Kenny and five-eighth Jarome Luai were ruled out of the Round 24 clash.

Kenny drops out of the squad after failing to complete captain’s run on Wednesday morning, while Luai has been ruled out by the medical staff due to illness.

Panthers will update the squad to 19 players 24 hours prior to kick-off.

They've got 4 players injured. Why do they need dispensation. Don't they have a squad of 30 to choose from. We have 7 injured.

That's what I first thought but then I heard it was so they could add 2 more to the named 22 announced on tues.
 
Another Thursday night game again, weekend starts today..lol. Gota keep reminding myself we're playing tonight. Big effort needed by the boys tonight, it's at Brookie, so anything's possible.

I am just hoping the team go out there with a winning mentality. Will be interesting to see what influence the new coaching staff can have in a situation like this. I am not expecting a win but at least a decent effort.
 
Can only ask the team and individuals play to the best of their ability, if its good enough we win, if it isn't they are just better.
Leave nothing in the tank, and I like many will be happy enough with that !!!
But aim to win with no shame to lose as long as you gave it your all.
