Ricky Stuart and the Raiders are rewarding the young guys who have played well in the trials. Soward was much better than Finch at Gosford!!!

It is clear that Des will stay with the tried and tested side. Therefore I expect no surprises and no bolters at all in the team, though we could do a lot worse than play Ballin and Cuthbertson.

In the end I assume the only issue is who plays wing and who is on the bench.

    Wing - Stepho or Robbo

Bench: Willo, Kylie, Bryant and Rose (with Cuthbo likely to play PL)

That means Dunley is starting hooker, Monaghan is five-eighth and everyone else is as expected.

It blatantly obvious that Des will go for stability.

Thats the reason Monaghan will run out with 6 on his back.

Whilst a bit surprised that Burns has been picked it makes sense - 5/8, kicker and can cover other positions including dummy half! Go Monty!!!!
