Full-time 18-10. Kept em scoreless for the final 49 minutes - great effort.

Attack is a real worry though - no spark

Gutsy and professional performance. Scored the points we needed to score and then gritted our teeth and refused to let go.

    MOTM - Stewart imo.

The 3 tries we did score were first class. Not so much the Dunley finish but the lead up was superb.

C - I was talking more about the 2nd half, we should have put them away.

The Defense was fantastic, thats what counts, i would rather win games by 18 - 10 than win them 36-28.

A great great defensive effort after a lot of attack inside the manly half and repeated sets against them. Donald, Menzies, Kennedy and Stewart had fantastic games

    MOM - monas

He took 3 kicks back in stewy's position covering his ass as well as driving the team.

Stewy was also awsome and tested all night

Watmough played his usual eveready effort - fantastic.

The guys played as a team tonight and it was great to see so many manly fans out there.

Monas, the callers said he played ****!

I gave my points to Kennedy, Stewart and Dunley/Menzies

I would say they are wrong.

out of the 3 kicks he took for Stewy 2 more than likely would have been tries - but then again most callers look only at attack, not defence.

Monaghan took some bad options in attack, but made up for it saving probably 5 or 6 tries between him and Stewart. He also made some much needed tackles.

Paul Stephenson had probably his best game I have seen tonight........ actually beat someone on the outside with pace.

The whole team played well tonight, it wasn't the type of game where it's fair to isolate players in the good or bad sense.
At the ground the vibe was that we were in control for the full 80 minutes, regardless of how close the score was.
On another note, Flash played another classy game in reserves and should be in first grade in another three to five weeks. Tezza is probably still the best bet until he gerts some fitness & timing back but in the long term, we've found that blue chip centre we're looking for. At the moment he's a second half specialist but that will change soon.

difference between Monas and Orford tonight... When hes off hes still damn good. Orford doesnt have the defence of Monas. Hes a freak. I love him! what a captains effort. Dont let him go manly.

whats with willow getting little time lately? Chad had a decent game... Kingy got injured again? man.. they should just let him fully recover as hes just reinjuring it. Watmough got injured hope hes ok.

Good effort Manly. Stewart MOM for me too.

Monas defence was awsome yet again - and in that department he is No1 in the league.not only 1 on 1 but position as well.

Flash is ash alberts - flash ash

mullane played well in PL again.

Glen was carving them up especially in the first half

Steppa was our second best of the back 5 behind stewy.
