We've said this before however Foran has every right to be furious at BA. Arthur and Watmough constantly told him how wonderful Parra was and how he wouldn't have to put up with the off field stuff he did at Manly etc etc.

What a nightmare. The bloke has ended up in a clinic and no club in the history of the game has had as many dramas as the Eels this year. The place is just a basket case. Also because Foran is the marquee player and paid the most he is constantly in the spotlight.

His dad, his manager and even Matty Johns warned him not to go near the place and especially after they stuffed his contract up to take it as a warning and to find somewhere else. He must be absolutely ruing this decision to go there.

BA is far from the trustworthy father figure he says is. He must have told Foran some absolute bs to get him there and obviously didnt mention that they were way over the cap. As if BA didnt have some idea. BA also allegedly leaked that Manly TPA issue to the media. What a guy. Foran must be over the moon that he took that unsuccessful clowns advice and headed to the Eels. Their team is absolutely falling apart. 12 points deducted. Paulo is going, Norman may not be re signed now. Peats has gone. They will go close to the spoon this year again and its no guarantee that they will be a force next year now. If I was Foran I would be not only disappointed in myself for going there but very disappointed in BA.

I may have missed something here but he hasn't tested positive to a banned drug but has been charged with possession so does the NRL drug policy cover that?
Depending on how many pills he allegedly had in his possession and how much cash he had on him the charge can escalate to dealing or trafficking if the cops really want to get narky.
ie if someone has say, 2-4 pills you can argue that it's personal use but if you have more than that then there is a case for dealing, albeit that it's just a group of mates out for good time and he was the idiot carrying them all.

History tells us he's not the only NRL player to go out and have a good time but to walk into a Casino with a bunch of mates ( some of which are known to the authorities) carrying some pills is the epitome of idiocy.
I've got no problems with guys dropping the occasional pinger but they can't plead ignorance as even us fans know their drugs policy.

I'd say right about now he would have been better off failing a drug test than to be caught carrying MDMA caps and muscle relaxants.
I may be reading too much into it but by carrying them it indicates to me that it's not just a once off.

So, surely his punishment from the NRL after the Court hearing has to be more than just doing a counselling course hasn't it?

Mixed messages from Foran’s management

CAN someone please explain why Kieran Foran fronted at Parramatta training on Thursday when his club and management had told the media he had returned to rehab in Brisbane?

Our airline insiders confirmed Foran was booked on both a Qantas and Virgin flight but cancelled at the last minute. The media assumed, and reported, that the Eels playmaker had returned to Brisbane to his rehab stint but he then appeared at the training session with no explanation.

The Foran mystery deepens by the minute. Last Thursday night, his TAB account was used for a massive betting spree over an hour after Foran had secretly checked out of the rehab facility and flew to Sydney. Repeated questions over where the rehab facility is located and for how long Foran will allegedly be in there have been met with no comment from one of his managers George Mimis. The other manager, Paul Sutton, who works at the same company as Mimis, appears to have no idea of Foran’s whereabouts or when he plans to return to Sydney permanently.
