Agree, when the times right Hoppa snr will want to get us into a bidding war for Lehi. Just as long as we're sensible about it, but he sure looks like the finished product right now.

He looks a bit thin to me eyes. I'm thinking a good pre-season in the gym away from being ready for the week to week grind of the NRL. I can see him getting a debut or something late in the season but I don't see him being up to the physicality of week to week NRL yet. Not that I am an expert.

Yep Seibold said that the focus for him was his body to catch up to his potential… they are not planning on rushing his progression.

Given that we took him to Vegas, I'm guessing the club has a pretty high opinion of him. He has looked very good for Blacktown.

I like the idea of Talau and Koula and Rubes back on the wing but I just can't see Seibs putting Hoppa at FB against the Storm in his 1st game.

I think young Hopoate could be a great asset, if handled well, instead of letting him play two first grade games then flogging him off to some other club. Have been noting young Weekes performances. Yet another one let go. I think though Hopoate probably needs this year to develop in the lower grade. Maybe a few games later in the year, but lets not rush him and then get all disappointed again because he's not quite ready. Yes, initially on the wing where he wont be brutalised because he's not yet developed enough.
