For someone as versatile as Buhrer, it was strange that he didn't end up on the wing as a replacement for Wolfman. At least we know now that Killer should never play there again in his career. Ever! LOL

Disagree. As my all time favourite player - he is perfect.

yeah he certainly is no winger.

felt for him out there, shows it is a specialist position these days, if a guy as brilliant as Jamie struggles.

Taufua's position throughout the game is pretty bad. He's certainly got as way to get us back to Robertson quality positionally.

Jeez I was blowing up with every replay of that !!

It was obvious after 2 or 3 looks, that the ball never actually got to the ground, he slid over the deadball line with the ball still up in the air

I was expecting to see BOTD and I would have lost the plot

Killer nailed that play. If he knocked it dead they would've got a repeat set and possibly scored. Best result possible.

I'm watching that ball and thinking it aint going out Jamie, anytime you like old son pick it up, kick it out...something. But because it's Lyon I'm also thinking ( I think a lot) it's Jamie he doesn't f**k anything up, so obviously Goodwin is wasting his time chasing that ball down....and then it was that we witnessed Jamies first ever mistake...thank god ...he is human after all.;)

You must be a gambler, right? :)

I agree with Kiwi - in the back of my mind was BOTD.

Volley is right. Lyon had it all under control.

It was weird for me. If it were say Wolfman (who I also love), or Matai, I would have thrown a physical tantrum. My missus was shocked watching that, that I didn't explode.

    How can I?

    It's Mr Jamie Lyon !

I thought like KE. First thought was it wasn't grounded until after the DB line, and then I just knew it would be a BOTD against Manly as usual. Thank goodness his legs were clearly out otherwise ....

Killer is still a GREAT player and a great captain. Just not a winger.

With Volley on this one. Killer's play - in retrospect - may well have been the play that won us that game. He got sufficient interference in there. Legend. :)

Nice sneaky kick at the last moment from Killer too. Bit worried they might have penalised him for it
