Hi all,
Another long time reader/lurker/ that has decided to take the plunge! Love the like minded (although sometimes a bit manic) passion for the maroon and whites throughout these forum pages so I have decided to jump in and give it a go.
As the name suggests, been a supporter since the early 90's. First time on the hill at Brooky was (I think) 91 v the premiers to be Panthers.. Was pretty young so I don't remember too much from that day except I think we got spanked.. and also Geyer was a total animal on the field!
Some of my favourite games to date (off the top of my head):
91 semi v Canberra SFS
95 v Newcastle.. (Marathon) chief v spud
95 semi v sharks (SFS) I think we were behind in the second half and made a big comeback and finished all over them.. Cliffy just completely tore them to shreds
99 v broncos (Brookvale) another comeback game albeit in dark times to be a supporter
05 v roosters (SFS) with BK our leader we announced our resurgence.. good times ahead
11 v roosters (SFS) the game Foran belted Pearce
12 v Storm (Brookvale) cheats face the Brookvale music
All semi final wins but especially 2013 v souths
All grand final wins but especially 2008 v Melbourne
Sure there's plenty more but thats all I can remember for now
