I am seeing more and more Matai in Williame.

Great hit tonight and a few other good hits during the game.

Another who is improving and may well be our center answer long term if he keeps it up.

Loved Williame's performance tonight. Some massive hits in defence and good metres. Looks really happy and comfortable out there. Was rewarded with a good try at the end.

    Win number 2!

His errors seem gone & seems to be doing everything with energy & shows reasonable speed & good strength.
Another thing I like, even in awkward situations, he does the tough ugly hit ups to get Manly out of trouble...

    We call him the Hex
But when he makes a tackle
his opponents call for a Bex

I honestly think he belongs with manly and in the centres, he has speed to burn. Good hits also

He is not a new Matai but he can play. As he gets a few games under his belt he is showing more in both attack and defence.
He's only 23 and the many fans who heaped derision on the bloke are starting to choke on their words.

One good game doesn't make a champion like Matai. However I liked what I saw last night he has earned another start in the centres next game.

I think he has the making of a good first grade player. He's very strong, quick and has some footy smarts.

I remember Matai copped similar treatment in his first year or two of first grade.

No comparisons please. Just let the kid build his own career.

    Has more improvement in him.

He's certainly on the improve and has played some fairly sound games this year.

Might be another Blair not real good on the wing but not so bad in the centre.

Blair was sound but he lacked pace or sting in defence. I'd take Williame over Blair any day of the week.

There will never be a new Matai. There is a one and only and he's a bloody legend.
