Hi ladles and gentlespoons

Didn't really want to start a new thread but sometimes posting new stuff in an old thread leads to chaaaooooossssss.

Anyway.....the injury update in this weeks IS dates back to september of last year, and the membership update is all about the 6 game pack.

Good to see they're on the ball re the website over there. Guessing they haven't filled the digital manager spot? (unless it's something my old laptop is causing?)

I'd tag the gentleman from Manly on this but I can't remember his user name, not sure if he is still there, and ummmm how do I put this.....Larissa would give a response.

go Manly!

Following criticism by sections of Silvertails of Manly officials "overexposing" themselves on media, the club obviously have decided to release no news including information on injuries.

No news is good news :D

as someone who works as a 'community manager' (basically digital / communications / all this kinda stuff etc..) it pains me to see how much the club ignore this role, and how poorly it is done. I've sent in resume a few times now over the years, even with a bit of a 'plan' they could implement, tips and whatnot, like every other matter anyone tries to have with the club.. ignored. (current climate.. wouldnt touch the role with a 10ft pole though, so kinda glad it was ignored otherwise i'd probably bolt to parra too!) It's obviously a resource issue, owners being tight on spending, the blob probably saying "dont waste money on that rubbish", no idea if the "socials" person is only part time for game days and whatnot then other posts shared by staff during the week, but they are miles behind other clubs in comms. Making things worse by the time they wake up and fill the role properly, it'll probably someone with all the "certifcates" but no idea on the actual things your average fan wants communcation wise and you are back to square one. For a business that relies so heavily on 'members', and 'bums on seats' you really need your comms in order in this day and age. Another area we're leading the race for the spoon in.

There is no reason for anyone to expect MWSE team information to be handed out. The Biro's own the team, and no 10% minority shareholder will be able to hold them to be transparent or accountable.

If they see fit to spend $'s on the members of the minority interest organisation they may do so, but as it seems to be playing out; they won't.

Just another happy day at #****youbiroboy

They probably have never heard of twitter and wonder why we all don't have fax machines they can send info too.

The Biros! I like it.
They may take notice when memberships drop alarmingly. Things will need to improve drastically before season's end or else or else there will be only red ink in The Biros.

There is a whole department devoted to Fans

I'm currently in the process of taking them to court over the naming rights of the "inside swoop" hence the publication has been put on hold.

I can vouch for Blake, he's always been helpful in my dealings with him.
