With the footy season kicking off so soon I thought it’s time to get back on here and get ready for the season!!! And starting with the fan day - wow how awesome it was!
Years and years ago I had found fan days to be pretty boring. I remember one year lining up in a massive line in a stinking hot room at Warringah Mall Library for signatures. And to be honest, signatures never really do it for me, getting photos and chatting to the players is what I want to be able to do.
This years fan day was just awesome! It was so good to see literally every top 30 player there, and it was super well organised - especially with a change of location only occurring the day before! Having the players standing around the different areas with markers in their hand made it so much easier to have a quick chat with them and grab a few pics. It was awesome to see the junior rugby league room absolutely packed too! And I love when they have member exclusive benefits at these events, because it is just another reason to entice people into becoming a member. The Lyons’ Den was a nice escape from how hot it was downstairs haha!
Didn’t think Manase would be there with everything that’s happened, but he was in great spirits. Had a quick chat to him and he told me the ‘Tommy Bra’ sunnies he had were real Versace, hahahaha.
Anyways, the positive vibes have continued and it was truly a great morning that I think has pumped everyone up for the season even more! Will attach a few of the pics I got with some of the boys - the rest are on my twitter page if you wanna see!!
