I shouldn't have counted those chickens before they hatched. I see Chris Walker is trying to block Orfords move to Bradford because they had a "deal" with him already before Ox signed, and now he wants to take them to court. Surely life couldn't be that cruel......

"Matt Orford's move to Bradford could be in doubt after former Gold Coast winger Chris Walker revealed he is taking action against the English Super League club signing the Manly captain.

Orford, who announced last week he is leaving Manly to take up a lucrative contract in the UK, could be forced to stay in Australia after it emerged Bradford decided against signing Walker so they could secure the services of the 2008 Dally M Medal winner.

Prior to Orford becoming available, Bradford had already filled their quota of five overseas players and Walker could be left in limbo after rejecting a new contract from the Titans to sign with Bradford in August. "

They'll simply have to pay Walker out.

"Bradford decided against signing Walker so they could secure the services of the 2008 Dally M Medal winner. "

This sentance reads as though walker wasn't already signed onto a contract and they opted for Orford instead.

Not really definative proof but the one thing ive seen in recent years is if you dont have it in writing you dont have ****. Sounds like Walker might have been hanging onto a handshake more than anything.

On radio this morning the contract has been signed but not lodged, maybe if they have to take Walker they could send Beaver back to us?

Walker won't be able to get a visa into the Uk because of his past troubles with the cops and casino's etc.

Bradford might even tell the authorities to knock him back.

I admire your passion cambo, but many on here have been consistent in their critique of Orford, they are just staying true to their opinions.

And BTW Orford sux, we won that premiership despite him, not because of him.

And don't mention him in the same breath as those 2, chalk and cheese.
