No ink - ling where this thread could be heading . On a serious note , Gifty certainly exceeded my expectations from his early lower grade days and to develop into the great all round player and performer in his time with Manly . Being selected as a regular N S W S O O player says it all in terms of his rating and standing in the game when he was at his peak . Gifted in so many facets , ball skills , positional play , very effective defender , and a genuinely tough , hard player as well . Up there with the more notable players in Manly club history .
