What has happened.

Over the first 9 rounds they gave away a league leading average of only 6 penalties a game.

Over the last 3 rounds they have become the worst in the league with 12 penalties a game.

What makes a team lose the plot like that?

Note: I am sure that it had nothing to do with the courier mail running the story before round 10 game against Brisbane that the Gold Coast were the least penalised team in the NRL...........

Personally I blame the refs.

refs got to half time in the season and started the square ups

It just proves the refs are going into games with bias and pre-determination.

Just on the Titans. Never been a big fan of the club, but I do like what they've done this year. I think Albert Kelly is probably the most improved player in the competition. I love watching a no 7 take on the defence like he does every week. Hopefully DCE's 2 tries last game helps the penny drop in that he is a much more effective player when he thinks run first.
