Five things we learnt from last night's game

Number 6.

Players like Mattai and Glenn Stewart are replacable but DCE and Foran are not.

DCE and Foran can make average players look good because of their skills and positions. Very much the same as cliffy Lyons made many players look great when he was playing.

The Stewarts were the 2 players most pissed off when des left and I have a feeling that they will both end up at the dogs next year so as to free up money to retain our other players.
 
7. We would have got a bigger, pro-Manly, crowd at Brookie - and we would have won by 40 points. (can anybody remember Balmain last winning at Brookie?). If we have to play a the Tongue why does it have to be another Sydney club? Why not NQ, Canberra, Titans?

Brookie wasn't an option because the ground isn't ready yet.
