Ok,im sure some of you will blast the idea of this but i think this could work
We have backs who are almost set in stone,Wolfman looks unlikely to return......or is he?
Im thinking what could be very handy is an ultra quick back row weapon that has been somewhat pigeon holed as a winger
Imagine this for a moment, that sharp inside ball as Ballin takes off to the right, passes left but instead of hitting a slow moving target such as,well lets face it,90% of our pack he hits wolf on the chest, wolf having come on at about the 30 minute mark blasts through the gaping hole with only the fullback to beat and plenty of options at his disposal such as Brett on his inside in support
The team would look something like this
1.B Stewart
2.M Robertson
3.J Lyon
4.S Matai
5.W Hopoate
6.K Foran
7.D Cherry-Evans
8.J King
9.M Ballin
10.B Kite
11.A Watmough
12.J Buhrer
13.G Stewart
14.D Williams
15.G Rose
16.J Gulavao
17.T Robinson
Just for a moment, sit back and picture those tired forwards in your mind grasping the gust of air as the Wolf leaves them in his wake,he gets to the fullback and either dummys or passes to his support player and a try is scored,he runs as hard if not harder than most of our front row,his alot faster than our back row
How many points would that be worth a game, how could you shut that point factory down
