Yeah because Moses was 5-8 metres in front of him and posing no threat. If Paulo doesn’t bite, Garrick has plenty of time to adjust.

Maybe, though the cut out from Brown was very good, you see Garrick take the inside option again even though DCE was there on Harper try.

Yeah, I get that. Seibold and the players have shouted that to the rooftops. But you still have to know when to dial it back a little. That inside pass to Turbo that Jake threw, when everyone on Earth could see it coming, was never on - especially after we'd scrambled to defend two previous sets. We barely saw the ball after that till the dying minutes of the half. Given that all the momentum was against us, the smarter play there would have been to prioritise completing a set.

Loving the shapes we're showing in attack, but we are still defensively suspect, especially on the DCE/Rueben/Paulo side, and we need to take all of our opportunities. When you are good with the ball and not so good without it, possession is always going to be the key.

Garrick hasn't been impressive at all in the centres, plays too stiff, is hesitant at times, other times over commits and he lacks a turn of footy speed off a stop start that can create points or get across in cover if the attack gets around him.

That side in defense with Paulo is what i was referring to in a previous post, in fairness though defending on the right against right to left passing is the more difficult side to defend as it is more crisp attack off most players natural passing side with high quality line running and plays.

DCE so often places Manly under pressure in terms of haphazard kicking at the wrong times (especially in the Souths game) and why would you strip a ball late in the tackle count near your red zone, brain explosion and a half.
