Hope that Alioia is fit and ready for a decent hit out and can rip in a bit , really overdue to make a good contribution again . Combined with Bully , should be able to give Manly some extra punch as they already should have an edge in the forward stakes if the run on pack can play to their best level or close . Haumole has still been putting in but also hope that he will be able to provide some better results with his attacking plays . Arthur seems to have a fairly steady approach to his game , does not have to overplay his hand , and ideally Shu through some gradual match fitness can step up even more . Great if Weekes can come into his own more Gutho is obviously always a player to try and keep tabs on , Cartwright and Matterson can be unpredictable , have to contain the Eels off loads and 2 nd phase attack , Fair bit on the line , need the win in so many ways . As usual try and do your best Manly .

They did ok in Canberra recently, so hopefully they'll remember that.

I can see it completely differently @mickqld I see us winning this game by around the same margin. We will either come out and play like we did last week, or we will do the opposite and fall apart from the onset. Manly by 20.

As @Bearfax said in the other thread, my main concern is Sivo and Tui coming in and not staying on the wing. Also hoping Weekes steps up and covers Gutho sufficiently.

That said, if our forwards play to their full potential and Schu shines, we should get away with a win. Looking forward to seeing JA make his starting debut and good luck to him.

Since Turbo became a regular first grader in 2016, when was the last time a Manly team without DCE, Turbo & Jake won?

Best i can tell, never.

The last time all 3 were out before 2023, was apparently vs Penrith in Rd 12 of 2019. Manly lost 15-12 at Penrith Park.
