Wouldn't the difference be that the cops weren't involved in the warrior's incident. If corey corby gets found guilty of possession that is a 'crime', the warriors broke club rules but didn't get busted by the cops.

I think the other difference is that the Warriors players may not have actually taken anything illegal - it was the old Stilnox and Red Bull combo, wasn't it?

Good chance that those sleeping tablets were actually prescribed to those players - I remember it being talked about when the Olympic swimmers did the same thing in London. Doctors are pretty quick to prescribe Stilnox to athletes, apparently because it's hard to sleep in unfamiliar hotel rooms, or because of jet lag, or you're sore from training or whatever. Wouldn't be surprised if the whole team has a rolling prescription to use when they 'need it'.

Same with the prescription painkiller incidents - Walker, Gray and Foran. If it's your own prescription they really can't do much about you using it 'recreationally'. Maybe you just got confused and accidentally took too much...

Still guilty of possessing illegal drugs, but let off without a conviction, which is not uncommon for a first offence.
The NRL can still take action if they want. But...Oh yeah, as you point out, he is a Parra player, so OK, don't worry about it!

He mustn't have had any drugs in the video I saw of him with his mates yelling in the background, because drugs make you very thirsty and he was quite happy tipping that bourbon and coke tin all over that young lady.
