Fans have been pushing for either a Challenge Cup style comp between the NSW Cup and QLD Cup, or an ARLC Cup between the winners ie Newtown vs Wynnum Manly on Grand Final Day.

Well here's what to do with the BRC teams - winner of it plays the Albert Baskerville Cup NZRL winners - (Albert Baskerville funded the All Golds(professional All Blacks - rugby was amatuer) tour in 1908 - have the BRC winners play the AB winners playing for the George William Smith Trophy (George helped introduce the code to both countries - Australia and New Zealand)
