SECOND-year syndrome. Sophomore slump. Call it what you like, but Manly halfback Daly Cherry-Evans is clearly having none of it.

Cherry-Evans, the 2011 rookie-of-the-year, last night produced an early contender for solo try of this year as the Sea Eagles made it two wins from as many games to start the season.

Amen to that buddy!!! He is so likable that opposition supporters love him too and that's a big achievement when he plays for the much hated Manly.

If Cherry-Evans is a chance for Queensland, Williams is a certainty for NSW.

"I'll retire if he goes to another club," Watmough said. "I don't want to tackle him."

that quote gave me a laugh

Whatever we do this year, we've got to sign Daly long term. He and Foran are the future of the club.
