GO the blues for sure, although can't bring myself to consider Shane Watson a NSW. Has he even played yet?

He's played as many games as Johnson has for WA, and almost as many as Ponting has recently for Tasmania :)

In other words none, although aren't they all getting a couple of state games before the Ashes?
Be the way if what happened in India and anything to go by boy will this be a great summer

They get back from india in a few weeks after 3 one dayers, then have a 20/20 waste of time to launch the season, then 3 one dayers at home against SL before the ashes kick off

KFC Twenty20 International
31 October 2010 Australia v Sri Lanka Perth

Commonwealth Bank Series
3 November 2010 Australia v Sri Lanka Melbourne
5 November 2010 Australia v Sri Lanka Sydney
7 November 2010 Australia v Sri Lanka Brisbane

Vodafone Ashes Series 2010-11
25 – 29 November 2010 Australia v England Brisbane
3 – 7 December 2010 Australia v England Adelaide
16 – 20 December 2010 Australia v England Perth
26 – 30 December 2010 Australia v England Melbourne
3 – 7 January 2011 Australia v England Sydney

KFC Twenty20 International
12 January 2011 Australia v England Adelaide
14 January 2011 Australia v England Melbourne

Commonwealth Bank Series
16 January 2011 Australia v England Melbourne
21 January 2011 Australia v England Hobart
23 January 2011 Australia v England Sydney
26 January 2011 Australia v England Adelaide
30 January 2011 Australia v England Brisbane
2 February 2011 Australia v England Sydney
6 February 2011 Australia v England Perth

So will be a small window for players to play first class, but a lot will be "rested"

sadly the England players will probably have a better preparation than those guys who play all forms for Aus.

Not sad at all, lol, for once in their lives its a smart move given how usually they get here under perpared. Can only be a good thing if it means a great test series.

Hussey, North and Hauritz need to go.

Katich
Watson
Ponting
Clarke
Ferguson
Khawaja
Haddin
Smith
Johnson
Hilf
Bollinger

You could mix Usman, Clarke and Ferguson around, not fussed where they bat.

Maybe drop Watson back down the order, get Pippy Hughes back in there somewhere.

Bradman was a different era and cannot ever be compared.

What made him a great was his commitment, third to none at the time (yes thats right, so far ahead there was no second place)

however these days any \"best\" batsman from around the world has a lot more to deal with, look at Tendulkar, great in india but as far as the rest of the world pitches (outside the dudcontinent) would barely scrape into the top 10, but he is not alone when not at home. Waugh and Dravid are 2 of the few that have been able to achieve more OS than at home, hats off to them

I agree thats why i think best ever is a very debatable topic,Ponting is still key to us winning back the ashes

Ponting
Clark
Watson
Johnson

These are our 4 men that must fire,if they do and the others atleast play average we will win it back

My keeper is still not Haddin,im not sold on him

1.Watson
2.Paine
3.Ponting
4.Clark
5.Jaques
6.Hussey
7.White
8.Johnson
9.Bollinger
10.That kid from last year,1st change pace bowler whos name i forget
11.Hauritz/Smith

This is not a batting order, think of it a rough draft

God, that side is worse than your NSW origin side.

I hope you didn't mean Clint McKay. He blows.
