Just watching this game. I don't go in for the conspiracy theories on the refs too much, but just seeing Brisbane get a free pass for things that Manly got instantly penalised for last week. Makes the blood boil a bit. Eg:
lifting tackle above the horizontal. Last week immediate penalty against Api. This week nothing.
Mansour asked to retreat a bit and play the ball ('held' call). Broncos defenders push and shove Mansour then kick the ball away, but no penalty, just get the ball back and play the ball. Last week penalty against the player in possession (Walker).
Goal line defense delaying play the balls at half time and then in the second half. Both should have been sin bins in my opinion.
Not to mention the try scoring movement pulled back when Corey Oates was injured.
And the latitude in slowing the play the ball the entire time (Penrith first penalty took a half hour).
Probably just another eg of the home ground advantage, for the one team city, along with their scheduling furphy.
