    Good move, Beaver

THE things you read on Facebook.

Suyin Condon, the long time partner of Manly legend Steve Menzies, dropped the news this week that the pair are finally engaged.

Beaver has never been one to rush things and the pair have been an item for over six years.

The happy couple recently moved homes in Headingley, Leeds, following the decision for Menzies to play another season with the Bradford Bulls.

Menzies is enjoying his time in the English Super League but says he misses his weekly game of poker with Manly teammates and the chicken from the Freshie Chicken Shop at Harbord.

According to Beaver the Poms can’t cook chicken.

It's the impossible dream but how I would love him to return to play one last season or even game with the mighty Sea Eagles. How much would I like him to break that record and own it himself.

I hear you but Steve is as much as a legend and who he is for not deliberately coming back just to break the record.

That is what beaver will be remembered for all the right reasons and that makes Steve, Steve!
