If someone is going to say who wins, you should put a spoiler alert in case someone recorded it on the day but hadn't gotten around to watching it yet. :p

The only GF since I became a Born Again Manly Supporter that I missed:-/

Now I make sure that I don't leave Oz in September/October - EVER:sleepy:

The will to win demonstrated by the 1978 Manly Team, has seeded all our subsequent Premierships - Thanks again Boys:angel:

How many knees were put in after the tackles was made. Right in front of Hollywood Hartley!

5 metre rule too. Would have made it tough for the little guys. In saying that players nowadays are 10 kilos heavier in relation to their respective positions. Second Rowers looked like they were around the 90 kilo mark.

Ha ha, not many would've had a VCR then and if they did it was most likely a Betamax...so no spoiler alert required!

You're right about the second rowers Brooky. Bruce Walker's playing weight in those days was around 95 kilos. Terry Randall was only in the 90-95 kilo range. Ian Martin was probably around 82-89 kilos - around 13 to 14 stone in real measurements.
