Wonder race - Horse Racing

Did anyone see the outcome of this "Wonder race" put together by the telegraph.

In the end it is a bit of fun, particularly leading into it, however they totally botched the race,

Phar Lap 4 to 7 wide the whole race, Winx winning to appease the current hype for his final run, despite missing the start by 2 lengths, Sunline fading way too early, Lonhro and octagonal the last 2 in, Kingston Town racing upside down over that distance etc..

I'll check it out at home. Carbine, 65.5kg back in 1890.
