Same old same old, rich getting richer etc.
This article has a cute graphic that is quite illuminating (it's a 3-4 minute read but worth it for the graphic!)

ps probably nothing to do with 'woke' but I thought if I used that in the title it might attract more views 🙂

Wow .. did you have to research old cold war slogans from the Soviet archives to come up with the timeless communistic propaganda chant of .. " and the rich get richer" ..

Or are you still living in that socialist dream world?

Do you support those huge tax cuts for the rich? Obviously some people do, be nice to know how you justify them if so?

I see a bit of Irony here feathered friend

Your Philosophy supports equality
It is not equality how hard working higher income earners pay a much higher tax than the lower income earners

Bozo as at last year's budget the Grattan Institute estimated that 3/4 of Australian wage earners earned less than the average full time wage of $97,000.
Only 3.5% had incomes over $180,000. Yet if you looked at the graphic in the article (or even the numbers) you will see that tiny minority of australians will benefit to a massively greater degree from those cuts.
Is it your position that the rich deserve this because they work harder?

1. What a great visual representation (from a pure coms perspective)
2. As I have earnt more money I have had no problem paying more and do not see the issue with paying more in taxes. I fully understand their is wastage in government spend but will always support the public health, education systems.

As much as it might sound like a you know what way to say things in my experience there comes a time when I am happy with what i am bringing home to the family and like the idea of supporting less fortunate people than myself via gov spending

When you buy your $5 beer ... you pay $0.45c in GST
When I buy my $5000 bottle of Grange ... I pay $454 in GST

When you buy your Suzuki swift for $23,500 .. you pay $2136 in GST
When I buy my Jaguar F type for $350,000 .. I pay $31,818 in GST

The government gets it back one way or the other ..
