It was interesting to note that Des was quoted in the Daily Telegraph talking about signing Ben Kennedy to develop a winning culture. I was pleased to see that as it is urgently needed.
We need winners and those who will give that extra bit that makes the difference between the top and bottom teams. People like BK are just what we need and the signing of Orford and Bell gives me hope as we add to the number of players who will not be content with mediocre performances. Despite his shortcomings this year hopefully this part of Terry Hill's game may have had an impact. Des and Tooves were winners, BK is a winner and the quicker we get a winnning culture firmly established, especially in away games and the 50/50 ones the better.
