last nights results have opened a nice little pathway for Des and boys to go deep in these finals

So for us to make the GF we have now have souths and Canberra who we have both beaten with out Tom T

Souths at brookvale Tommy went off at halftime and we still got souths.
Then the raiders at brookie we won without Tom and DCE for the best part of 50 minutes.

I sense there’s a lot of believe in our squad with Marty back next week and possible Joel if we make the prelim.

Brace yourselves seaeagle brothers and sisters I sense we are about to go on a bit of a run.

I doubt we can win the comp but I think we might give the big guns a real scare.

I'm just enjoying the ride, after the inconsistency of the last few seasons it's just awesome to have a competitive team to support again - every game we play after round 25 is just a really nice bonus!

What is a REAL window of opportunity is for the 2020-21 seasons.

I’ll actually be surprised if we buy any established player other than one who might be heavily subsidised.

Our forward pack for next year looks ****ing awesome already.

Our backs could be improved a little , one of those damaging Fijian wingers would be nice ( sorry Jorge).

I think Des will persist with Walker at 5/8, meaning he’ll get an extension.

Cust or Croker may well be the back up Hooker, the other ( or both ) the back up halves.

2019 reminds me so much of 2006 ( although we didn’t lose our first final) , Ben Kennedy ( Joel Thompson) leading the way for the young forwards and instilling a “ never say die” attitude.

Remember 2007 we made a GF, 2008 we won one!

2020 we make one

2021 we win one

Who knows , we might even win one in 2020 but I’m thinking this Rorters side might go 2 or 3 in a row.

Beat faiders twice without turbo.. he went missing last game against them they shut him down and we found a different way to win. Faiders be worried its DEJAVU it was same scenario with them coming off a win in melb last time too.

Our opponents in 2007 were something like 30% over the cap; kind of like racing a Ferrari against a V8.

Got to figure 2020 we can win as well as 2021; assuming we’re playing a team that’s not cheating it’s a*re off.
