WIN Stadium buggered

Just heard on 2SM that they're having big problems with a main support of WIN stadium buckled under strong winds and people have been evacuated from the nearby leagues club too

Latest report mentioned that the main stadium roof was in danger of collapse - hope they have their insurance paid up

Judging from the BOM charts, they'll still get fresh westerley winds through Wednesday but the westerlies die down each night in this sort of weather pattern, Thursday looks like the quietest day for the engineers to secure things at WIN.

More relevant to the Manly vs Brisbane game at the SFS, on Fri afternoon or evening we have strengthening warmer NW winds with a cooler strong SW change coming through Fri night - don't know whether this will come through before of after the game at the SFS.
