Why we need more Beaver around the club

Luckily Beaver still is around the club, but it would be good to have more ex-Eagles actively involved.
I was surprised (and impressed) with the number of ex-Dogs that Gus and Ciraldo have recruited to be actively involved with the Dogs revival (see link in lsz's post)
Manly needs much more of this... and probably an investigation into why we don't have it. There needs to be an investigation!

The defence presents the bulldogs staff (which does not include physios etc)

They have what 4/5 just for recruitment?

I would suggest it is $$$$$$

Well said SeaEagleRock,
Anthony Seibold is uninspiring, this is just my opinion but Manly DNA needs to be injected back into the club, figures that are proud of the club and want to see it succeed, Gus Gould has significant Canterbury DNA hence why i think it would work, get legends in the sheds to inspire the modern players, i know Terry Lamb is no stranger to getting around the players regularly, get Cliffy in there

Cliffy is involved with the club, but just not in a coaching capacity. And I get the impression Seibold/Mestrov have made a real point of trying to bring back more ex-Eagles, such as Snake, Choc, Ox, to be involved with players at either senior or junior level.
There's plenty more Manly heroes though. And it would be great to see more of them brought in formally, into junior coaching or some sort of visible role.

What is Cliffys role with the club/team????

Not sure? Think he was on the football club board. Him and Beaver are the two who always seem to attend club events
