Yeah, I'm pretty sure the two scenarios aren't mutually exclusive.

That leaves us and Saints. As it stands under Mestrov we seem to be doing okay so I reckon it is Saints.

I think you’re far too quick to rule out Cronulla, if they’re selling an asset to the NRL, they are certainly a club that is currently asset rich and cashflow poor. I’d actually guess they’re the most likely candidate.

I think it could be Cronulla. I live in the area and I have heard they were after extra loans. They should be ok in the long run.

Saints have a billionaire as a fifty percent owner, Cronulla no longer has an interest in that development , they sold whatever rights they had a few years ago, quite cheaply, as I mentioned in a previous post which I elected to delete, however I can say that their Leagues Club is LONG overdue, and perhaps over budget,so any cash they may have been getting from them is not coming in.
