The main question is what we these guys bring to the table and can Bozo see something we can't? I think without doubt his credentials are better than mine but here are my thoughts
Nate Myles: I think he will be solid throughout the year. He will add toughness to the pack but his main contribution will be what he teaches Jake and Liam
Lewis Brown: Will be a regular in the 17 but will provide nothing different to what Buhrer or Leary provide
Api Koroisau: Will start in the 17 but i will be very surprised if he finishes there. Solid but i would have Ballin and Parcell ahead of him.
Darcy Lussick: Obviously been brought back to add some grunt to our pack but personally i think this is a waste of money. Had plenty of opportunity to shine at Parramatta and still didn't. Would rather see Liam Knight there
Matt Parcell: Will prove to be our best off season buy. Will finish the season as a regular first grader.
Tom Wright: Will spend three years in U/20's and or NSW cup and will fade into oblivion.
Tim Moltzen: If he can stay injury free he could be a surprise packet
Nathan Green, Fabian Goodall: NSW cup at best.
James Tamou: Even though he is contacted to the Cowboys for next year I can still see him leaving and heading to us. Would certainly be a welcome addition.
These are just my thoughts, and i would be interested to see what the other members think.

Nothing too thrilling, with the exception of Parcell.
We need to hope BJ recovers from injury and regains his 2014 form. We seem light on for big metre-eating forwards. Liam Knight will make an impact in seasons ahead, but it's too much to hope he'll be an accomplished first grader in 2016.

Trent Barrett will be coach that's about as sure as I am on any of it until preseason starts or any future signings changes things.

Koroisau to be dally m hooker of the year, he is just like Austin needs a full season at hooker to prove his worth. He and Austin are a like, neither were given an opportunity at there previous clubs to prove there worth but I see him as our best signing easily and he and Parcell will be a force next year together. Tamou won't be coming here unfortunately. As u said wright doesn't sound like he will be involved at the club for a while so shifting Parcell to 5/8 in the future is the best option. Lewis brown is a gem of a buy a lot better than Buhrer and Leary and will provide excellent service in numerous positions. Lussick will play well don't worry. I see Demetriou being in the side before knight, addison is a future wrecking ball, similar to Taumalolo. Knight will be like Jake one of the big stories of the year. Myles is going to bring some discipline in defence which we lacked this year.

Brown a lot better than Buhrer? Wow I hope he proves this in 2016 because up until this season he hasn't.

Buhrer is no certainty of returning 100% , isn't this his second ACL operation , same knee?...... This is very concerning considering he relies on his agility and late foot work at the line to wrong foot larger forwards, I'm a little worried as we all know he's never been a big forward and needs this lateral movement.... Fingers crossed, but getting back on topic lussick must deliver as we have purchased him to deliver, fingers crossed he gets back to manly fighting spirit from the battle of brookie. Api ,parcell will be good to watch keep each other honest for the hooking role, but with ball in still in the mix and digging in surely won't be playing nsw cup. Myles should be solid with out being a star....... Go forward as we know is still the problem, still to light on up front.

Other knee.Im worried what they'll do with Api/Parcell.Api being a Barrett favourite will get the rails run but Parcell,in my opinion,is twice the player. This assuming he hopefully doesn't use either as 5/8

Agree with most except for the bit about Lewis Brown being better than Buhrer.

I've not seen much of Parcell, but really don't like the idea of him playing 6 if he is a 9.

Correct me if I'm wrong, all the success he's had so far is at 9? He's played very little else other than 9? Why would we throw him in at 6 at NRL level? I don't even see many transferable skills between the two positions?

I'm also a little tired of us playing players in key positions 'who can play there'. Playing Lyon there isn't even ideal, the only reason we're putting up with it is because he won a premiership there in 08, and he's got the skills that can apply as a short term fix for the role. If Lyon was destined for the 6 jersey he would have kept it for years after he won a prem in it. But he didn't, he moved back to centre and easily played his best footy for us there. Just feels like a step backwards using Lyon, and playing an untested kid there, who is granted by all accounts a very gifted 9, seems like it's no step in any direction. Just a quick fix, or picking him for the sake of having him on the field and hoping for a miracle. I'd actually prefer that we buy someone like Isaac John who is a 6 and always has been, so we have the specialist players playing in the specialist positions and who knows what happens when we play these players regularly, they might grow in to a half decent player. There's far more chance of it happening that way than Parcell becoming a top 6 when he's learnt his trade at 9.

Seems a bit like we're trying to fit square pegs in to round holes just because we want to get him on the field. If he's good enough he'll get there don't worry about that, forcing him in to something he isn't will do nothing to help him IMO.

Unless he's played a lot of 6 and I'm missing something?

Parcell has played halfback before

I think Myles will add a lot to our pack and mentor Jake Turbo and our other young forwards, I think Darcy Lussick can do well and he has a big point to prove. I am excited about Parcell, the zip he is going to give us around the ruck is going to open things up for DCE and snake I predict. I hope that Api can overcome his recent tragedy, he looks a very solid player and the perfect foil for DCE at 5/8.

Bit like Des playing Brett Morris at fullback.

I could understand if a player was always aiming to move to fullback (like RTS or Tom Turbo), but when they've played most of their career in in their specialized position, it doesn't make as much sense.

Parcell 9, Api 6

That's how they'll be used.

Ballin only used in NSW Cup unless we get injuries.

Looking forward to seeing what the new defence coach from Storm can bring. If our defence improves suddenly we are way better than we were this year.

My mid Boggles how the Shetland Ponies let a Player like Parcell Go. He is a Gun. Watch him play this Sunday in The State Championship.
