What will Dollars do for the second half of season?

With an Origin spot seemingly gone and the Roosters deal a fait accompli what will Dollars attitude be for rest of season?

Will it be the usual splattering of brilliance mixed in with the brainless madness of last night that leads us to our usual 7th to 12th nuisance value finish or will the lights go out and he phones it in and a spoon battle ensues.

I suspect professional pride will result in the former but god help us if it’s the latter as Arthur, despite his willingness , is totally out of his depth.And I’ve simply had enough of Brooks to even make a case.

My answer is he will play very well and suit both our talented backs and edge forwards who are basically just bash and barge atm.

At the moment Fogarty is leading a team with few stars and they are serious title
contenders thst play with consistency and hardness.

And please don’t come back with the fact that we beat them; that just totally emphasises the inconsistent weak performances of the decade of the DCE tenure. Unlike last nights fiasco they have won 9 of their last 11 since they lost to us with Fogarty looking a thorough professional.

I think your prediction was 84-4 ?.Sienold ain’t great but he’s not 80 point bad.
DCE had his fingerprints all over that fiasco.

They have also not had a bye so their performance is even more meritorious given the rigours of this comp.

Before Ricky took a hold of him and he was ordinary at the titans under different coach

Bottom line is DCE has played under Des, Barrett , Siebold over the last ten years and has achieved absolutely nothing with the overall theme of our side being inconsistency , weakness under pressure interspersed with some brilliance - in fact our team reflects him perfectly - brilliant at times but under pressure it’s game over.

When did I say anything about Seibold? That bloke is clueless too but if you can't see DCE has also been an issue then I don't know what to tell you. There's only been about 10 years of evidence to show that.

Fogarty is the main man at the Raiders who currently have the most wins in the competition, with a roster that is arguably not much better than ours. That includes Weekes at fullback who many derided on here but has now improved and found success with a stable half that uses his weapons properly and doesn't overplay his hand.

Fogarty also wasn't 'in and out' of the Titans team, he played 2 games in 2017 and then didn't break into the first-grade team permanently until 2020/21. In those years they finished 9th and 8th respectively and have been in the bottom 4 ever since he left. Since joining Canberra they have a 62% winning rate with him in the side, and 45% without him.

So before you go listing off $CE's individual achievements again (the only notable ones being pre-2015 with an all-time side that already experienced success without him), just look at the results since he signed the mega deal and you will know which half actually has the 'winning attributes' to you know, actually win games of footy. But I figure you will be defending him to the bitter end anyway.
