Yep we won't be 16th, so that's a bonus.

A number of league commentators predicted us to be 12th, with only a few suggesting we'd make the 8.

Impossible to predict after 1 round, but I reckon we will take a while to gel, and if Brett's out for a month ( or more) it could be one of those 1/7 type starts which would make it almost impossible to feature in the top 4.
