Ken "Arko" Arthurson on the morning today show in that rotunda outside Fortress Brookie, plenty of Manly fans in the background, saw several that would be keen silvertails forums members too I reckon - awesome! Also saw Mark from Brisbane on the other channel at the Brookie MWSE Shop or ground too I think - enjoy, boys! Wearing my MWSE Scarf, Jersey & flags ready, GF Day is here. Go Manly Warringah!
Wish this rain would go away.
I live close to the Stadium and the rain looks set in, bring your ponchos people!!!
Does anybody think a wet track favours either team?......us I hope.
Wet weather lends itself to low error, no frills, grind it our football. Slippery footing will limit the smaller quicker players footwork, and make the second phase play more difficult with a wet ball. Hopefully we are better suited to that style of game.
We've done pretty well in wet/slow conditions all year. Safety first, complete your sets: that's been the DES mantra all year (I think!) and the points take care of themselves. I'm going to kill some time with the mower... Then drink. Lots. COME ON MANLY OWN THIS GF!!
