Plenty of heart shown today, yes we are lacking talent in certain areas but which team isn't?! The Storm are by far the best team in the comp. They tried to blow us away early and nearly succeeded, but the heart shown kept us in the fight all day. I'd thrown my hands in the air and given up early (lucky I'm not playing haha). So I apologise for my early tamtrums and admit that I went 180° at the end. A few tweaks here and there and we'll be back in the winners circle in no time. Again, great heart shown boys - that's something that comes from within and can't be manufactured.

That's true. You and I had a barney at the start (because you liked a comment calling me a dribbler), but it was sorted at the end.

We played terribly in quite a lot of that, but those terrible areas are fixable areas, which for mine, is the positive. It's not a lack of talent. It's a mix of errors and attitude.

That, and I thought the referees allowed The Storm way too much latitude in the ruck, and over policed us. The back-up ref was talking and laughing with the opposition all game - that was just wrong.

I'm always one to take positives from a game. In attack we were constantly dangerous. We created many half chances and capitalised on a few as well. The offloading really threw the storm and worked well.

The negatives. Undoubtedly our left edge defence in the first half....very very poor.

And to finish on some positives I thought fitness wise we seemed to run over the top of the storm in the 2nd half. They seemed flat and shot and we had all the energy.

Sorry but I disagree , I have just got back from the game.
Wow that was so poor 1st half our left hand defence was so poor and we really should of been down by more. Yes we showed heart in the second half but we played dumb footy in the last 15 mins we should of won that game.

I was seating in the FMZ Stand and there was no talk at all in the 1st half. You know about 25 mins in I saw Tom t really give it to the boys, he and jake I feel for them, they are above this bunch of manly ring ins.

1-4 at home now this season, not good enough. Man brookvale is not the same anymore, apart from jake tom , DCE none of other players really care at brookvale, they just don't get it from the way they have played this year.

Oh well I am travelling down to watch us play the raiders. If we are even slightly off our game raiders will give us a thumping.

Positives is unlike souffs we didn't drop our heads so much mental improvement.

Negative is we still lost.

Manly lack speed and directness in most elements of their game and conversely struggle to contain teams who play with speed and directness like the Dragons and Melb have so easily exploited.

Even against the Roosters it was evident, Manly are struggling to contain the ruck big time which is merely stating the obvious, fixing the issue is much harder to address.
