Week 1 of Finals advantage

Last night made me even more angry about the fact that we now have to play week 1 of our finals campaign at either SFS or ANZ instead of at our beloved Brookie

As Gus said he loved the packed suburban , tribal atmosphere that was created last night. Every manly supporter that could go and went last night should be congratulated- made the ones who couldn't go very envious.

I know our facilities are not up to standard for finals football and we could only fit about 21,000 max into the ground but it showed last night how much it means to the boys to play there and how much it means to the fans.

Any team after last night would be scared to play us there again this year. As said in previous forums this week- imagine we play either dragons or tigers week 1 and we have to play them at SFS or ANZ where the crowd would be 60/40 probably in there favor.

Anyway thank you boys for making my season complete even if we don't win the premiership this year-which we still are a good chance i think. Brett scoring his 100th try ( for those at the ground against Canberra, priceless , Us smashing the bulldogs at ANZ this year and now last night- very proud of them .

Manly forever.
