Where did you hear that take on the story because its been reported the other way around, in that it was Teo's hat and WC just tried to get it back?

I'm no fan of Chambers, but agree with lsz. We would defend out own in situations like this saying people don't know the full story, yet we are quick to jump on others.

It's interesting that the online news is full of articles about carney, and now chambers but it was only by chance that I saw an afl player was charged with multiple counts of rape and is still allowed to play footy.

The afl media certainly has a different attitude towards its game than the nrl media.

The media particularly in Victoria can be just as ruthless and indiscriminate.

Just depends on the profile of the player in question, sometimes.

Just recently Dane Swan was front page news for merely attending a ''celebrity'' dinner that included a high profile crime figure.

Similarly Buddy Franklin can't smile at someone in Sydney without it reaching the tabloids.

From what I've seen in regard to the Majak Daw case (apart from his lower profile) it's complicated by the fact the charges date back 6 or 7 years to when he was 16 years old.

I agree with you that the NRL media are quick to judge; the same can happen down south.

I now have to take the dog for a walk and pick up its poop.....after that you'll see some real sarcasm!

You think you have problems, we left the cover off of the sandpit and all the neighbourhood cats peed and pooped in it in about a 10 minute period. I now have to find a place to empty the sand, clean it out and source new sand.....I hate cats
