“The game on the field is nearly irrelevant right now, it’s everything off the field.

“My issue is the fans. It’s pretty destabilising at a club I can tell you, we put on a brave mask and make out you can handle it, but it’s not what you want.

“Secondly, the fans are the most disappointed because it’s done in such a manner where your season is about to start and it’s not easy on the fans.

“All this speculation and talk does nothing for your club at all.”

Exactly @Mavin About time us poor old fans were remembered. Long forgotten by all these "top blokes"

The Clubs and the NRL should stop refering to us as Fans. We are their customers at venues, merchandise, Foxtel, media bundles etc.
Its our discretionary income that they want and we are happy to spend on a quality product

At least someone is "referring" to fans. The players sure don't!

There needs to be an overhaul of this system. So unfair to ask clubs to get in members when you suspect that your top players are not going to be there for the future.
