Even though we lost thought we were finally looking better in attack with killer at 5/8 and walker at centre. I thought walker played well in the role and will get better if he stays there and gets more comfortable.
But he still lies all over the few tackles he makes. That last penalty he gave, walked them down the field for Barba's try
Agree here. However Walkers defense is very suspect. Gee he looked sharp with a bit of early ball tho. Good signs of Barrett keeps him there.
I like the look of the combination Lyon and Walker. Killer looked a lot better and Walker just looked like he was about to explode. Good signs.
Disappointed with the loss but the boys showed guts and looked alot more dangerous with killer at 6 and dylan at 4 .
At least Manly was out there tonight. Now we have a five eight and a footy team back. Time to get to work on all the little areas and things, we need to improve. Starting with goal kicking......... Shame it's round 11 and not round 1.
Just heard walker say that they will only train twice this week. Would have thought more training to work on combos would be a good idea....
That sounds about right Give them this week off to refresh and start back fresh say next Friday or Saturday, remember we do have the bye next week. I think a week will be enough time to work on combinations. All I ask for next weekend is the dogs give the raiders down in Canberra a good hard game,nothing soft , maybe even Goldern point and then even a few injures. Really I know Canberra are playing well this season but if there was ever a time to get them I think Friday in 2 weeks time is it.
I have it on good authority that Barbie rang Ken and threatened to take him to court for more of his pay check if he didn't swap Killer and Walker. If only she had also threatened about Blake Leary and Darcy Lussick.....

It's good to see Barrett has realised he was wrong and has made the change he gave walker 10 rounds and nothing happened, walker came out and played his best game of the year. Good stuff Baz and great work Jamie Lyon taking one for the team and moving to 5/8.
With this Walker move to centres proven as an instant success, now need to bite the bullet & have Kapow in his more destructive role - OFF the bench for impact.....starting to resemble a competitive footy side if positionally, get it right. The injection of Buhrer was great & Myles OFF the bench proved a good move also.
