According to late mail in SMH Vaealiki is out with a knee injury with no replacement decided upon yet by Dessie. No word on who will drop off 7 man bench yet either.

Will he play Menzies in the centres, move Lyon out there and get a new 5/8, or will Neumann be promoted again ??

I couldnt see him as a 5/8, but i don't think any forwards would be running straight at him lol

Flip, after being at a few games at the end of the season, to me it is quite clear that it is coached into the structure for Matai to try and pull out a big hit. I noticed at the start of the set he would move closer to the ruck, Orford would shift outside him, and he would run in and a bit of cover would hang back to cover that hole. Is similar to what Hopoate used to be used for by Des, and effectively ended his career
