Tommy needs to get this right. If he decides to play origin and aggravates either his shoulder or hammie our fans are not going to be happy. NSW can wait! Get this sorted out Tom, train and be ready for 2021, we cannot afford to have you for a portion of the season. We need you fit every week!

It was interesting to hear Des's interview last Saturday. He said that Turbo & James Rahme had been guided by experts at a Melbourne uni who are world leaders in hamstring injury recovery. Even though it was a different hamstring this time, Turbo spent 13 weeks on the sidelines getting it right this year, compared with 8 weeks last year. Let's hope for Turbo's sake that there is no future recurrence of this type of injury. He loves playing footy, works very hard on his game & rehab, and was in the best form of his career before injury.

Yes, Tom's prepared to gamble his whole career, and our club's investment just to try and get ready for a dumb origin game, at 24 years of age.

James Rahme says that if was a regular season, Turbo would be back in a couple of weeks - similar to an injury Waddell had earlier in the season

According to Tele likely to pull out of origin as shoulder is taking longer than expected to recover. This is good news, allowing him to be in tip top shape at the start of next season.

Sensible decision in the end. It would have been great if he could have gone through a successful Origin series and come out without any injury for him mentally - another 6 months without game time is going to make him pretty anxious, however a full pre-season which he wouldn’t have had in a long time can only be a good thing.

II had no problem originally with him going for origin if he got through the last 3 games. Once he injured the shoulder in his first game back origin should have been off the agenda.

He shouldn't be playing now but I hope he stays within the state camp for his mental health and offering his experience to fellow blues..
