As for Andrew’s I never really followed vic that close but always found it interesting he was never voted out (for someone who was allegedly so unpopular- again the opposition seems a train wreck there which I am sure helps)

Just heard a snippet of the question to Trump but in all due respect to ideally professional reporting , tend to think more on the gratuitous side as journalist must have surely realized the topic has already been flogged to death, a predictable dismissive response , and fully aware how fickle and petty Trumpie can get with penalizing a country "s best interests with any form of their perceived media slants or adverse questioning or not aligning with his outlook
Especially when purported scandals or corruption could be leveled or directed at so many U S Presidents , past or present
Shouldn "t be that way and of course transparency and public interest questions to powerful politicians anywhere should be a given but again Trumpie does take many things personally and the retaliation factor right up there with his perception again of a reporter or media essentially representing a country per say

What is happening in the US affects the world, and certainly affects Australia as we are tied to them by AUKUS, as well as culturally.
So I don't consider discussion about it to be merely idle amusement. We're not talking a movie! We're talking about things that affect us and our kids ,and our immediate future! (which may be why it seems I take it too seriously)

What are pro-MAGA views on Trump Jr? I don't know an awful lot about him; although the above strikes me as a bit of a red flag.

I never stop and think about it, although - political views aside - being a trans kid in the US must be pretty horrible at the moment. I suspect suicide rates will probably rise, so will interesting to see that kind of data whenever it becomes available. Chances are that most are probably insecure enough already. Even before the Kirk incident they've been fairly under the weather. I don't even know what the end goal is, other than just making them feel bad about their choices in the hope they will 'correct themselves' and convert back or something.. I don't know, im fairly out of touch with that side of things.

On a separate note though; I also saw that Elon's still struggling to control his bot
Ill head offline for a week or so but will catch back up whenever it is that im back.
