Tries against the run of play...

..have really hurt us this season. Titans game, 1st Parra game, today, last game against Dragons. Is there a game where we don't drop the ball and let the other side run 80-90m and score? We just seem to drop our bundle too often, and not have the pace to recover. Is this a symptom of Snake not being around to cover?

To those who say we don't deserve to make the 8, that is crap. We have been OK without being spectacular. Obviously a couple of big highlights taking down the Storm pre-cap scandal, and the Dragons soon after.

If we had sewn up a few games that we were well ahead in (Tigers, Eels, Titans) early on, we would've cruised into the top 4.

I think a 7th spot is about right.

And if anyone thinks we couldn't beat the Tigers or Titans in a one-off game away from home you are dreaming.

I seriously doubt we could string 3 or 4 wins together though.

Good post Chuck. We lack the speedsters to chase and manage breakdowns in play. The issue now for the Finals is the number of injuries we face and the judiciary panel through stupidity.
