Raiders were missing their first string fullback, halfback, five eight and their two best forwards. There are no excuses, that was pure ****e, I can handle losing as long as we look like we care about winning and play in a way where we could win. We didn’t. At all.

Our boys have been reading too much press. Tried to play razzle dazzle in slippery conditions and made plenty of unforced mistakes. Also Garrick let too many bombs bounce.

You could tell that they just turned up and thought that would get them the win and did not respect the raiders enough. If we are not careful it could very easily happen against the dragons next weekend.

Seriously, do you guys watch much NRL,in 2021 ?

We started playing "unrespectful" razzle dazzle once we were behind on the scoreboard, and well behind in momentum.

I cannot reiterate enough how hard it is to shift momentum in Vlandysball.

Essentially, the whole game came down Parker's dropped ball over the tryline.
Compounded by Suli dropping the ball when we shifted wide later in the half.

It was game over right there.

I cannot reiterate enough how hard it is to shift momentum in Vlandysball.

Those two plays were critical
If parker scores we get the points and the ball back
If suli hangs on the the ball we gain momentum towards scoring again

Both those plays cost us tries

Garrick had that one cracker game and we all too readily forget the string of forgettable performances in the same position. Tonight was a reminder. Much like his erratic goal kicking, he is capable, yet inconsistent and unreliable at this stage of his career.

Absolutely could happen. We might have Jake back. But probably no Turbo or DCE (But wouldn’t be surprised if DCE backs up, there’s no way Walker gets another go at 7) and if Des runs with Jetski over Burbo on the bench again, and under-utilises the rest of the bench like tonight…..Norman (if he plays) will bomb the shiit out of Garrick. Hook will have them fired up. Jesus, I’m going to stop typing now. I’ve got myself rattled about next week now.😱
